Our Aim is simple ... It is to bring you some of the finest produce that the area and the region has to offer, and served to you in the Village Hall in the beautiful village of Skenfrith.
Come to the Market and buy from your local producers !
Our next Market is on Saturday, 11th May, from 10 am to 1 pm. After such a long cold and gloomy winter, why not come to beautiful Skenfrith and see the spring flowers and of course our lovely new lambs in the fields around the village? And as an added extra we are delighted to welcome back Simon King, Patron and Head Chef at the renowned 1861 Restaurant in Cross Ash who will holding a cookery demonstration during the Market.
The idea of knowing what you are eating and where it comes from has been thrown into sharp focus in recent months with the horse meat in beef products scandal. The food supply chain into our supermarkets may deliver cheap products in store, but we are now beginning to understand the real 'cost'.
Farmers and produce markets deliver fresh, honest produce, from local providers who are proud of their products and pleased to tell you about it! So come along and see and buy for yourselves!
See you there ....
